Using datasets from other forms or datamodules

QRDesign allows you to use any dataset from your application. This way the tables for a report don't need to be opened again if they are already used in your application. Also the end-user won't be bothered with selecting tables for a report, setting correct sort orders or filter conditions.

You can connect a QRDesign report to table and query components on any form or datamodule. Just drop a TReportDesignerDialog component on a form, set one property and create a report based on given datasets:
